  1. Influences

    Growing up, I had an uncle I looked up to who worked as an electrician and in school I gravitated towards science. So, when I went to college, I went into electrical engineering and never looked back. Before working at Dunham, I used to imagine an electrical engineer as someone in a dark room working on widgets; I didn’t foresee the communication and collaboration that comes with being an engineer in our industry. I really enjoy the day-to-day challenges of solving problems and collaboration between colleagues.

    The best marketing is when you do a good job for a client and become their trusted partner. It's building trust that creates the client relationships we’ve had for 20+ years. Trust that turns clients into friends who ask you for recommendations to help plan their projects. I’ve developed architectural relationships over 15+ years, from just starting out in our careers to now growing into leadership positions. Knowing these people trust and look to me as a resource is one of the greatest things I take pride in.

  1. Empowering the Next Generation

    We try to give our people opportunities to grow in their careers by giving them more tasks each project and each year. We build our staff up and push them to grow. We support each other through a collaborative culture of 50+ registered engineers across various business units to learn the technical skills needed that make a great engineer.

  2. Innovation

    Technology is changing faster than it ever has. For engineering, that means we bring newer technology and systems to the forefront when we meet with owners. We provide pros and cons of the technology options, so owners can make the best decision for their business. By providing innovative solutions for our clients, we have built up great relationships as a trusted partner.
