Dunham is pleased to announce that OATI’s Micogrid Technology Center has been named a Grand Award winner by ACEC of Minnesota. Our team received the honor at the 50th Anniversary of the Engineering Excellence Awards.
This award-winning office and data center facility is an advanced micro-grid with a cogeneration system that provides a completely off-grid solution while delivering high efficiency and mission critical reliability needed for a data center. Dunham provided a micro-grid design that includes natural gas microturbines, a diesel generator, solar panels, rooftop wind turbines and an energy storage system. Waste heat is captured from the microturbines to drive an absorption chiller, and to feed the heat recovery system which heats the office building.
