Dunham provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services for a new 75,000 SF, K-8 school designed for special needs students. The facility is a two-story structure with mechanical and electrical systems located in the lower level. The project required special consideration for the systems used as to mitigate ambient noise of equipment, visual and noise lighting distraction, security, and quality of environment for students. The school serves approximately 130 students, including those with Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD), Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), and Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD).
